EuroCham: ESG Contest & Awards Gala Dinner

Wednesday, 20 November 2024: EuroCham hosted the 2024 ESG Contest and Awards Gala Dinner at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation and Khmer Enterprise. Mr. CHHEAV Narath, Managing Director of CoGen HR, Management Academy and Consulting Group, and EuroCham Chairman of HR Committee, was one of the judges for the Technology Leader category.

The event brought together key stakeholders from industry, government, and civil society, as well as contestants from businesses showcasing their dedication to sustainable principles in environmental, social, and governance frameworks. The awards ceremony recognised the diversity, equity, and social leader award; the corporate award to HEINEKEN Cambodia; the SME award to Cambodian Knits Handmade; and the Environment Leader Award to Voltra, a pioneering company in Cambodia's electric vehicle space. Naga Corp was recognised as a leader in sustainable environmental practices. Six Senses Krabey Island was named Industry Partnership Leader, and 3inClean won the Youth Leader Award for turning organic waste into soap. Smart Axiata won the Technology Leader Award for its strategic use of technology and innovation to address ESG-related challenges.
