EuroCham HR Committee Meeting
23 November 2023
On Thursday, November 23, 2023, all members of EuroCham's Human Resources Committee, chaired by Mr. CHHEAV Narath, Managing Director of CoGen Consulting Group, EuroCham Board Member, and Chairman of the Human Resources Committee, deliberated on the following topics:
The outcome of the Courtesy Call with H.E. HENG Sour: The HR Committee Chairman, Mr. CHHEAV Narath, brought up the significance of digitizing employment contracts, enhancing apprenticeship programmes, and controlling overtime restrictions during the meeting.
The Committee's Vice Chairman, Dr. Antoine Fontaine, emphasized that the private sector is keen to collaborate more closely with the Ministry and the pertinent authorities when drafting laws.
2024 White Book Edition: In addition to the release of the 2024 White Book, EuroCham has introduced the cutting-edge and interactive "Advocacy Compass." This version of the book seeks to promote increased cooperation among stakeholders and provide a real-time update. An essential turning point in our advocacy work was reached when the White Book was formally presented to His Excellency Minister during the Courtesy meeting. The White Book's HR chapter showcases the collective expertise and understanding of EuroCham and its members by covering a wide range of HR-related topics.

2024 Human Resources Forum: The committee is also thinking about planning the HR Forum for 2024. Given the 2023 HR Forum's success, this decision was made, and EuroCham is currently looking for sponsors for the event. To go over the specifics of the event, our members will meet in person.
In addition to being the last meeting of the year, this one served as a chance to get ready for 2024.
