Meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries

Mr. CHHEAV Narath, EuroCham Board Member and Chairman of the Human Resources Committee, attended the meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries on October 24, 2023.

H.E. Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, was also visited by the delegates. Among the subjects covered were contract farming, the process of registering and importing animal health products (i.e., vaccines and supplements) into the country, and worries regarding the lack of a framework for importing veterinary supplies. The delegates respectfully asked the ministry for guidance on this issue, noting that it is critical to assist the growth of Cambodia's agricultural industry.
